Their growth is like a cancer, gradually growing until one day you have a major problem and you don't know what to do about it or how you even got there.
But there are telltale signs:
•You don't look forward to seeing your kids every day?
•Do you feel you need a break from the kids?
•Is "No!" becoming an important word in your vocabulary around the house?
•Do you spend more time disciplining your kids rather than enjoying their company?
•Do your kids' behavior get on your nerves, daily?
•Do you find yourself nagging more than laughing?
•Do you find yourself saying "I guess it’s OK. They'll probably grow out of it."
•Is the school telling you your child is just going through a phase?
•Do you find yourself thinking of fantasy dream vacations that don't include your kids?
•Do you wonder what to do when you see them doing something annoying or inappropriate?
•Are the kids in your life beginning to demand things rather than earn them?
•Are you dining and whining more than you're winning and dining lately?
•Are you using words like "hyperactive" at home or school to justify
annoying behaviors?
If you answered "yes" to any of the questions, you may want to
change the situations. The game of life is supposed to be fun, exciting to wake up to every morning. If its not, then you can change it by learning how to make your actions assets. It's a lot more fun.
